At Capture Factory Studios, we’ve designed a space where you — and your crew — can feel completely relaxed and creatively inspired. Our open-plan studios provide an airy, uncluttered environment that encourages free movement, fresh ideas, and seamless production.
You’ll find comfy sofa zones with 27″ iMacs ready to stream your favourite playlists, and both studios are fully self-contained — so there are no interruptions during your shoot.
Capture Factory Studios was created by photographers, for photographers. Owners Rory and Lydia have shot in countless rental studios, and they know a plain white box just doesn’t cut it. That’s why we’ve built a space with creativity at its core:
movable wall panels, staircases, textured backdrops, architectural mouldings, and plenty of greenery to simulate a location house — all designed to spark imagination.
We’ve also taken care of the practical details:
Ultra-fast fibre broadband
3-phase power outlets for high-powered lighting
Original windows for beautiful natural light — or drop the blackout blinds for full control
Secondary glazing to reduce noise and regulate temperature year-round
The changing room comfortably fits two models and includes hair-washing facilities and an oversized radiator to keep everyone warm and comfortable.
Each studio has its own fully equipped kitchen, stocked with:

Any size restrictions for larger vehicles?
The size allowance for a vehicle to enter our front gates is 270cm wide and 276cm high. We have an entrance around the back that has no height restrictions.
Are the studios soundproof?
No, the studios are not fully soundproof. The studios have solid concrete floors which have been sealed. We have installed brand new double glazing (in 2024) and rubber sealed entrance doors to provide further sound and heat insulation. We have generally very quiet neighbours who are very amenable to be quiet at our request when sound recording is taking place. Friday - Sunday is the buildings quietest times if audio is priority.
Are the studios warm / cool?
Yes, the studios are warm and cosy in winter and cool and comfortable in summer. Each studio has its own gas central heating and are very well insulated. Capture Factory Studio owners, Rory & Lydia, have shot in many cold drafty studios, they fully appreciate that to get the best out of a rental space, client comfort is paramount to us.
Opening Times?
Our standard opening times are 09:00am - 5pm. We finish at 2pm Fridays, if the studios are not booked. Weekends are pre-book only.
We can open or close at any time to suit your needs.
Can you assist?
Yes, we can be as much involved or just leave you to it. We have trained photographers, retoucher and assistants available for hire.
What can the space be used for?
Anything you want. The studios have been to designed to be open-plan to accommodate any event. Most of our equipment and furniture is on wheels so can be moved easily. We have hosted photo and video shoots, parties, gallery showings, pop-up shops, puppy yoga. Try us...the more interesting the better!
